COVID-19
PRECAUTIONS & PROCEDURES
We strictly adhere to the current COVID-19 guidance for Outdoor Recreation / Outdoor Guides / Tours / Outfitters provided by the Colorado Department of Health:
https://covid19.colorado.gov/safer-at-home/safer-at-home-outdoor-recreation
WHAT WE ARE DOING
Limiting mixed groups or any tour visiting partner venues to 10 or less
Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from recreators and fellow employees whenever possible.
Conduct staging operations, such as customer check-ins and end-of-trip operations, outdoors with members of different households spaced at least 6 feet apart.
Guides and other tour staff will wear face coverings as much as possible, especially during tour orientation, during venue visits, and tour conclusion.
Between riders, handlebars, baskets, bells and seats are wiped with disinfecting wipes, then sprayed with a bleach solution of 4 teaspoons bleach per quart of room temperature water.
Providing guests with the opportunity to wipe down their own bike (again) with disinfecting wipes and carrying a package of wipes on tour in case guests would like to disinfect hands/equipment during the tour.
Requiring pre-tour temperature checks for all guides and mandatory 14-day furlough upon exposure to the virus or symptoms.
WHAT WE ASK GUESTS TO DO
Maintain physical distance of at least 6 feet from members of other households at all times (often more while pedaling) except in cases where it is unsafe to maintain that distance.
Bring and wear face coverings during check-in, staging, upon entering any venue, as well as during end-of-trip disembarking activities. Wearing face coverings while biking may limit necessary oxygen intake and is up to the rider’s discretion.
We are hoping to offer stylish, multipurpose neck gaiters featuring our bike-nature-cheers triangle logo, for an additional $20 charged to the card used to book the tour.
