Get a sneak peak at Boulder's famous 10K via cruiser or electric bike - no sweat!

Want to check out this year's Bolder Boulder 10k course before the race? Perhaps you have a friend running and want to find the best spot to spectate or park? Or perhaps you are the runner and want to get a better idea of what to expect on race day? This is a great way to explore Boulder and the course while keeping your leg muscles limber and relaxed for the big day. We even have some electric bikes available if you really want to give your legs a rest.

The bike tour will follow the race course pretty closely, except for a couple of small stretches where biking is not safe (or enjoyable) unless the road is closed to cars. We may also make one or two small detours to "refuel" at some of Boulder's best, off-the-beaten-track watering-holes, ending the ride at a great little brewery back near the start of the race/ride.

Meeting Location: Parking lot on Walnut & 30th Street in front of the Walnut Cafe. Come early and wait for the rest us at the cafe while you enjoy one of the best breakfast places in Boulder.

Tour Duration: approximately 3-4 hours

(best costume wins a free beer at the end of the ride!)

PRICE (*):
  • $89 for standard city/cruiser bike (or $99 for an electric bike, $59 for kids bike/trailer, $65 if you bring your own bike.)

  • Want to sit back and relax in an open-air carriage while someone else does the pedaling? Call us to request a pedicab! Fits up to 3 large adults, 4 smaller adults/children.

  • Includes helmet (possibly with silly decorations), granola bars, and a friendly tour guide.

  • Spanish-speaking guides also available upon request.

Water bottle, backpack, sunglasses, athletic shoes, rain jacket and an extra layer for inclement weather, I.D., plus cash/credit card for guide gratuities as well as any food/beverage purchases along the way.

Be prepared for high altitude exercise. Please drink plenty of water and eat a good, high protein meal before arriving. Guides will continually consult with guests to assess the best pace and frequency for rest stops, so please be honest about your needs and interests. Under Colorado law, bike tours cannot include alcoholic beverage purchases in the tour price.

If you don't see a time slot that works for your group, call us at 720-772-9659. We are happy to add a tour if we have an available guide!
